Hi my name is Tanzie! I set up Epic Veg Kitchen 3 years ago, with the purpose of spreading the message of veganism through food to a non-vegan audience. With my re-purposed vintage horse trailer I showcase amazingly nourishing, colourful and delciously Epic vegan food at an array of different events. All of my burgers, curries etc are made by hand including the sauces which accompany them. I don't use single use plastic and all my serving containers are compostable. Even my cleaning products are vegan, because I feel it is important to be consistant when promoting an ethical vegan business. I am available to hire for weddings, private parties and functions and charity events.
Here is a little look at my menu:
- Epic Burger - tasty, succulent and firm textured seitan patty served with beef tomato, coconut bacon, romaine lettuce, cashew cheese sauce gherkins american style mustard & ketchup in a toasted bun
- The Mexican Mountain Burger - A patty made of black beans, sweet potato, red pepper & seasoned with chipotle peppers and spices, served with a fresh coriander & avocado salsa, cashew sour cream, romaine lettuce in a toasted bun (GFO)
- Rich ‘n’ Sticky BBQ Pulled Shroomz w/ creamy sumac coleslaw and romaine in a toasted bun (GFO)
- Butternut squash, pepper & green bean Panang curry served w/ rice, toasted cashew nuts and fresh coriander (GF)
- Jackfruit Masala curry w/ short wholegrain rice, fresh coriander and coconut yogurt (GF)
- Vegetable, coconut and butterbean curry w/ short wholegrain rice, fresh coriander and toasted cashew nuts (GF)
- Smokey sweet potato, bean and chocolate chilli w/ short wholegrain rice, coconut yogurt & fresh coriander (GF)
I also do a range of Epic brownies in various flavours with gluten free options.
The ever growing area of the business is weddings, and this is something I just love to do. I work closely with vegan couples to provide a menu which will wow all of their guests, even the hardened animal eaters. This means the bride and groom can relax and enjoy their day to the fullest, knowing the food provided is made with love in a fully vegan kitchen and their guests will love what we provide. For weddings and events I am available to cater a cold buffet also, details upon request.
